Church Cleaning and Churchyard Maintenance

The weekly cleaning of the church and maintenance of the churchyard is carried out by voluntary groups. Although some younger/ new members have been added to their number, additional volunteers are needed as, with the passage of time, some volunteers are ageing.

• Church cleaning involves a session of one hour per month on a Friday morning from 9.00-10.00am.

• Churchyard maintenance includes the grounds around the St Peter's Centre and, since the retirement of Andrew, the Rectory garden. It currently takes place on a Tuesday morning. However, an alternative time or day can be arranged. Anyone with an interest in gardening is welcome.

It is imperative that more helpers come forward in order that the church and its grounds are maintained to their present standard.
